By visiting our website, accessing digital lecture notes, utilizing our assignment and practical cover page generators, or registering an academic contributor profile, you enter into a legally enforceable agreement governed by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms").
If you disagree with any provision contained herein, you must immediately discontinue your use of the platform. Access to DPGNotes is open to individuals who have reached at least 13 years of age. Students under the age of majority in their jurisdiction are required to review these terms with a parent, legal guardian, or educational mentor.

2. Permitted Academic Use & Non-Commercial License
Subject to ongoing compliance with these Terms, DPGNotes grants you a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and royalty-free personal license to access, view, and print study materials solely for non-commercial educational study, exam preparation, and classroom revision.
Except as statutorily permitted under the fair dealing provisions of Section 52 of the Indian Copyright Act, 1957, you may not repackage, re-license, sell, scrape, bulk-mirror, or commercially distribute any document or asset obtained from DPGNotes without explicit prior written authorization from Akshat Network Hub.
3. Contributor Warranties & Creative Commons Distribution
Contributors who share lecture notes, practical files, or previous year examination analyses make the following binding representations:
- Originality & Authorship: All submitted notes represent the contributor's independent intellectual analysis, personal classroom syntheses, or legitimately permitted commentary.
- Third-Party Rights: Materials do not infringe upon any third-party copyright, trade secret, trademark, or institutional confidentiality restrictions.
- Creative Commons License: Unless specifically agreed otherwise, all public submissions are distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0).
- Editorial Freedom & Deletion: Contributors retain the right to edit, update, or remove their publications at any time using their Contributor Dashboard.
4. Strictly Prohibited Conduct & System Abuse
To ensure a safe, supportive, and reliable academic ecosystem, users must not engage in any of the following activities:
- Commercial Piracy: Uploading or distributing complete commercial textbooks, instructor-only solution manuals, or leaked question papers.
- Automated Scraping: Deploying bots, scrapers, data-mining scripts, or automated extraction tools against DPGNotes document endpoints without administrative authorization.
- Quota Evasion: Falsifying guest session tokens, manipulating referral counters, or abusing ad-supported generation tokens in cover page utilities.
- Infrastructure Tampering: Attempting SQL injection, cross-site scripting (XSS), token tampering, or unauthorized inspection of backend database nodes.
- Harassment & Defamation: Uploading abusive, obscene, hateful, or defamatory remarks in contributor biographies or document metadata.
5. Service Availability & Academic Syllabus Disclaimers
DPGNotes provides all academic resources on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind. While student contributors and mentors strive for high accuracy, educational curricula differ across universities (e.g., MDU Rohtak, Gurugram University, Kurukshetra University, Delhi University). Users must cross-verify lecture notes against prescribed university guidelines. DPGNotes expressly disclaims liability for examination results, grades, or academic performance.
6. Limitation of Liability & Intermediary Safe Harbor
DPGNotes operates as an interactive academic intermediary under Section 79 of the Information Technology Act 2000. Under no circumstances shall DPGNotes, Akshat Network Hub, or its volunteers be liable for direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages resulting from reliance on hosted study materials, technical downtime, or third-party links.
7. DRASA Regulations & Disciplinary Appeals
Violations of these Terms are subject to enforcement under the DPGNotes Regulations & Suspension Act (DRASA), which establishes progressive administrative sanctions from informational notices to permanent IP bans. Sanctioned users hold the statutory right to submit an appeal within 15 calendar days via our official support portal.
8. Governing Law, Jurisdiction & Grievance Support
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the substantive laws of the Republic of India. Any legal dispute or controversy arising out of this agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in Gurugram, Haryana, India.
