1. Commercial Purpose & Academic Charter
DPGNotes is committed to democratizing access to high-quality academic notes, engineering handbooks, laboratory solutions, and syllabus tools. To maintain server capacity, protect user privacy, and sustain operational reliability without charging tuition subscriptions to students, DPGNotes offers verified contributors the capability to promote high-value educational resources, coding repositories, technical blogs, and professional profiles through our ethical Native Ads engine.
Unlike predatory third-party advertising networks that flood viewports with misleading pop-ups, DPGNotes Native Ads are strictly non-intrusive, academic-first, and governed by transparent unit pricing tied to verified human engagement. This policy sets forth the exact commercial terms, telemetry tracking mechanisms, academic portfolio discount subsidies, and monthly ledger locking procedures applicable to all ad campaigns created on DPGNotes.
2. Dual-Interaction Unit Pricing Model & Single Engagement Rule
Every active native advertisement deployed on DPGNotes is billed strictly according to a dual-interaction engagement framework. Contributors are charged only for authenticated, non-fraudulent interactions, with guest rates discounted by 50%:
Genuine Hover Interaction (≥ 5s)
Billed when an authentic user hovers their cursor over an ad call-to-action button for a continuous dwell period of at least 5 continuous seconds (5000 milliseconds). Fast mouse sweeps, robotic cursor emulations, and unintentional passes are algorithmically filtered out.
Genuine Destination Visit
Billed when a user deliberately clicks the advertisement's destination action button and navigates in the same tab through the platform's Safe Destination Gateway. Direct URL pasting is classified as invalid and never counted for billing.
Strict Single Engagement per Ad per Month Rule
For each unique verified contributor or guest visitor, exactly one billable interaction (hover OR click, whichever occurs earlier) per ad campaign per calendar month is recorded in Firestore. Subsequent interactions for the same ad from the same visitor within the same monthly cycle are permanently rejected and never billed. Guest interactions are billed at ₹6 / hover and ₹10 / visit (50% reduction) to reflect guest traffic analytics.
Strict Self-Interaction Prohibition & Own-Ad Exclusion
Hovers and clicks performed by the active contributor on advertisements they uploaded themselves—or advertisements uploaded by any linked or duplicate account associated with that individual—are strictly non-billable and automatically bypassed. The telemetry engine verifies active session tokens and author identifiers in real time to prevent self-inflated metrics or inadvertent owner charges.
AI Profile Check Algorithm & Multi-Attribute Identity Clustering
To prevent malicious or unusual engagement exploitation through multi-accounting, DPGNotes employs an advanced AI Profile Check Algorithm. The engine cross-references registered accounts across five core identity signals:
- Similar / Variant Email Addresses: Detection of Gmail dot modifications, plus-addressing aliases (
user+tag@domain), and typo variations. - Matching Full Names: Bigram and Dice-coefficient semantic similarity on contributor names.
- GitHub Profile Links: Canonical handle matching across submitted repositories.
- LinkedIn Profile Links: Canonical vanity handle resolution across professional profiles.
- Settings Bio Details: Deep token analysis on academic bios and contact details submitted via dashboard settings.
All accounts clustered under the same physical identity are treated as a single entity: one valid hover or click across the entire cluster is allowed per ad per calendar month. Subsequent interactions from alternate accounts in that cluster are rejected with zero additional billing charges.
3. Safe Destination Gateway & Same-Tab Verification
To safeguard our student community against malicious redirects, phishing sites, and deceptive downloads, direct unverified external links are prohibited in all native advertisements. Every promotional link is routed through our dedicated security inspection gateway opened in the same tab:
The Safe Destination Gateway automatically executes the following security checks prior to allowing user navigation:
- Source Origin Validation: Enforces that navigation originates directly from DPGNotes. Direct address bar entries bypass all monetization tracking and are non-billable.
- Malware & Phishing Inspection: Verification of the destination domain against real-time threat intelligence and known malicious host registries.
- Protocol & TLS Certificate Validation: Enforcement of HTTPS encryption on destination landing pages.
- Visual Transparency & Destination Preview: Presentation of the target destination domain and verified campaign information to the student before handoff.
4. Deep Analytics Telemetry & Transparent Metrics
When a visitor navigates via the Safe Destination Gateway, DPGNotes captures detailed telemetry parameters to provide advertisers with actionable intelligence while preserving end-user privacy:
- Campaign Metadata: Unique Ad Tracking ID (
track-id), Firestore Campaign ID (ad-id), Ad Title, and verified Uploader Name & Profile Photo. - Viewer Categorization:
- Verified Contributors: Records Contributor UID, Display Name, and Profile Picture. Deduplicated so that repeat visits within the same month update visit frequency and recency timestamps without inflating billing units.
- Guest Users: Identified by anonymized Client Device ID and Guest Session Token. Retains a single unique billing entry per calendar month.
- Search Engine Crawlers & Bots: System logs crawler classification (e.g., Googlebot, Bingbot, YandexBot) for indexing diagnostics. Automated crawler visits are permanently excluded from billing charges.
5. Contributor Academic Portfolio Discount Matrix
In accordance with our mission to reward students and educators who enrich the DPGNotes open repository, we provide substantial, progressive portfolio discounts applied directly against all gross monthly interaction charges (both hovers and visits). Contributors earn discounts based on verified, public educational materials submitted to the platform:
| Tier Classification | Verified Portfolio Qualification Criteria | Monthly Discount Subsidy (All Engagements) |
|---|---|---|
| Bronze Tier | ≥ 3 Public Uploaded Documents | 20% Off All Charges |
| Silver Tier | ≥ 10 Public Documents + ≥ 5 Assignment Solutions + ≥ 5 Practical Solutions | 40% Off All Charges |
| Gold Tier | ≥ 25 Public Documents + ≥ 12 Assignment Solutions + ≥ 12 Practical Solutions | 60% Off All Charges |
| Diamond Tier | ≥ 75 Public Documents + ≥ 25 Assignment Solutions + ≥ 25 Practical Solutions | 80% Off All Charges |
| Platinum Tier | ≥ 120 Public Documents + ≥ 45 Assignment Solutions + ≥ 45 Practical Solutions | 100% Free / Fully Sponsored |
5.1 Advertiser Placement Subsidy Deduction
In addition to portfolio tier discounts, DPGNotes rewards advertisers through a dedicated Placement Subsidy Deduction based on genuine peer engagement earned across the portal:
- Subsidy Qualification Rules: An advertiser’s uploaded ad is valid for subsidy deduction when displayed and interacted with on:
- Another contributor’s Assignment Solution or Practical Solution page
- Another contributor’s uploaded PDF study resource
- DPGNotes platform utility tools, Legal Notes, and compliance pages
- Self-Placement Ineligibility: Ads displayed on the advertiser's own uploaded PDF resources, Assignment/Practical solutions, or resources uploaded by duplicate cluster accounts do NOT qualify for subsidy deductions.
- Subsidy Unit Rates:
- Genuine Hover Subsidy: ₹9 per valid interaction (Contributor) / ₹3 per valid interaction (Guest)
- Genuine Click / Visit Subsidy: ₹12 per valid interaction (Contributor) / ₹8 per valid interaction (Guest)
- Monthly Deduction Application: Total earned subsidy amount is deducted directly from the advertiser’s gross payable balance alongside their portfolio tier discount:
Net Payable = MAX(0, Gross Charges - Tier Discount - Total Subsidy Saved). - Monthly Interaction Limits: At most one valid interaction (hover or visit) per unique contributor or guest per ad campaign per month qualifies for the subsidy discount.
6. 12-Hour Gap Anomaly Protection & 15-Day Account Flagging
To eliminate synthetic traffic inflation and protect advertisers against abnormal interaction spikes:
- 12-Hour Gap Anomaly Purge: When the telemetry engine detects that interactions on the same ad URL occur with a gap of less than 12 hours, all Firestore charging logs for that specific ad are immediately canceled and purged.
- 15-Day Account Suspension Flag: The corresponding Contributor UID or Guest identity (Guest ID & Client Device ID) is placed under a 15-day Ads Flag. An Ads Violation is logged in the Admin Portal Violation Tab, and all past and future engagements during the 15-day window are permanently excluded from billing.
7. Monthly Billing Cycle & Automated Email Statements on the 5th
Native ad campaigns operate on a transparent calendar monthly billing cycle (YYYY-MM):
- Billing Cycle Conclusion on the 5th of Each Month: On the 5th day of every calendar month, the previous month’s advertising cycle officially concludes. Telemetry metrics, tier concessions, and placement subsidy deductions are frozen and permanently locked into the Firestore ledger (
ads_monetization_ledger). - Automated Detailed Statement Email: An automated, itemized billing statement is dispatched directly to the advertiser’s registered email address detailing:
- Total Gross Hovers and Visits (Contributor vs Guest breakdown)
- Gross Monetization Charges
- Academic Portfolio Tier Discount Amount Saved
- Placement Subsidy Deductions
- Final Net Payable Amount & UPI Settlement Guidelines
- Immutable Ledger Locking: Once finalized on the 5th, previous monthly ledgers cannot be retrospectively altered. Additional resources uploaded in the new month apply toward future billing cycles.
- Dashboard Real-Time Visibility: The Contributor Dashboard displays real-time running estimates throughout the month alongside the reminder: "On the 5th of each month, the previous monthly cycle concludes with bill finalization, immutable ledger locking, and an automated itemized statement dispatched to your registered email".
8. 15-Day Payment Window & What Happens If Bills Are Unpaid
Every monthly billing cycle finishes on the last day of the calendar month. When a new month begins, contributors have a 15-day grace period (from the 1st through the 15th day of the month) to review and settle their monthly advertising dues or request a fee concession.
If an outstanding balance remains unpaid after the 15th day of the new month, here is what happens:
- Active Ads Are Paused: All of your running native advertisements are temporarily paused and taken off the site so you do not incur further charges.
- New Ad Uploads Are Blocked: You will not be able to submit new ad campaigns until your previous balance is cleared or formally waived.
- Your Study Notes & Academic Uploads Remain 100% Safe: DPGNotes is first and foremost an educational community. We never take down, hide, or penalize your uploaded notes, lab solutions, or question banks because of an unpaid ad bill. Your academic contributions stay public and untouched.
- Prompt Reactivation Upon Payment: As soon as your payment is confirmed and marked as Paid (or Waived) in our system, your paused ad campaigns are immediately turned back on.
9. How to Pay: Step-by-Step Payment & Concession Guide
DPGNotes does not use automated third-party payment gateways. This keeps processing fees at zero and helps us keep advertising rates as low as possible for students. Because payments are handled offline via UPI, please follow these three simple steps:
The 3-Step Offline Payment Workflow
Step 1: Request Payment Details or a Bill Concession from Your Dashboard
Go to your Contributor Dashboard and find the Ads Monetization & Billing Status card. Click the "Request Payment QR / Concession" button. You can request our official UPI QR code and verified Phone Number (these are the only direct payment channels we support), or apply for a fee concession if you have financial constraints. Submitting this sends an automated system email to our admin team right away.
Step 2: Make the Payment & Email Proof to Both Admin Inboxes
Pay the payable amount through UPI using the provided Phone Number or QR code. Once the transfer goes through, take a clear screenshot of the payment receipt showing the transaction ID / UTR. Then, send an email to both akshatpsd2005@gmail.com and its.akshatnetworkhub23@gmail.com with the following details:
- Screenshot or receipt of the payment (with visible UTR / Transaction ID)
- Your Contributor Firebase UID
- Your Full Name
- Your Registered Email Address
- Your Contact Phone Number
- Billing Month (e.g. 2026-10) and Total Net Amount Paid
Step 3: Verification & Automated Confirmation Email
Our administrative team will review your payment against bank records within 5 to 10 business days. Once verified, the admin will update your payment status to Paid (or Waived) from the Admin Portal. When this status changes, our system automatically emails you an official payment confirmation notice so you know your account is settled and your campaigns are in good standing.
10. Administrative Auditing Exclusions
To protect contributors from incurring charges during routine platform monitoring, quality assurance, or customer support reviews, all traffic generated by verified platform administrators is completely excluded from monetization telemetry. Specifically:
- Visits, hovers, and redirects performed by
its.akshatnetworkhub23@gmail.com,akshatprasad009@gmail.com, or any authenticated admin token designated by the system environment (ADMIN_EMAIL) are bypassed automatically. - Internal administrator audits never increment billable hover counts or destination visit metrics.
11. Campaign Delisting & Prohibited Content
DPGNotes reserves the unconditional right to suspend, remove, or permanently delist any native ad campaign that violates our Academic Integrity Standards or Community Guidelines. Prohibited content includes:
- Ghostwriting services, essay mills, or commercial examination impersonation tools.
- Misleading, fraudulent, deceptive, or malicious download links.
- Gambling, sports betting, predatory student loans, or age-inappropriate material.
- Violations of intellectual property rights, unauthorized copyright reproduction, or DMCA infringements.
12. Billing Settlement & Grievance Redressal
At the conclusion of each billing cycle, applicable payable amounts are displayed under the contributor's dashboard. Inquiries regarding billing statements, tier recalculations, payment reconciliation, or fee concessions may be submitted to our administrative desk:
